The average age of the science section of the library at the beginning of the year was 21 years (publication date 1996). I have been working on replacing and updating aged titles. The only book about solar energy was published in 1991. There was a book on robotics from 1986.

Project | Makerspace
I have purchased books about coding, making things with paper, cardboard, and other materials, and technology. I have bought circuit sets, Makey Makeys, a 3D printer, Legos, and a few solar powered robots for students to build.

Project | Collaboration
In order to be a resource for teachers, I attend PLC meetings to find out what's going on in the classrooms in the coming weeks and recommending books, resources, or ideas for lessons. One science teacher wanted me to demonstrate use of robots to her students.
